Q) What kind of sessions does your studio offer?
A) We offer sessions in our studio and also outside in our private waterfall garden area. Location sessions are also available. Please remember outdoor sessions are best during early morning light or late afternoon sun.
Q) Do you shoot in black and white?
A) All of our portrait sessions are shot in digital format. You're finished portraits will be available in color, black and white or sepia.
Q) Do you touch up photos?
A) After the session is done and your images are selected, we will retouch your final choices before printing. We routinely remove any noticeable blemishes, shine or wrinkles. We'll always provide you with beautiful portraits you will want to proudly display in your home. You will not look airbrushed - you will simply look your best!
Q) How should I dress for my portrait?
A) Logos, prints, stripes, plaids or busy patterns should be avoided because they are distracting. Please refrain from flamboyant bows, ribbons and hairstyles. To look your best, a natural and relaxed look is preferred. Proper clothing coordination is especially important for family group portraits. Please look at our Resources page on this topic on our website.
Q) How soon will I be able to view my portrait session?
A) We have studio hours available for viewing the images in high resolution on our large monitor. Please call for an appointment to schedule your private screening time. Due to storage issues, the digital images from your session are kept for one year and then purged.
Q) Are our animals welcome in studio or on location?
A) Absolutely! In fact, we often suggest including pets in family portraits. They're part of the family and welcomed in our studio or on location. We also do special sessions just for pets!
